This is a political story about a female President, her Chief of Staff, and a White House reporter. This book includes an affair, a war, a near-tradegy, and shows the impact that real life events can affect the course of politics. There are quite a few strong female characters that demonstrate the benefits to being a woman in a position of power and sacrifices it takes to get there.
I only have this book 3 out of 5 stars because I felt like it had the same ending a lot of female political books have. I really enjoyed this book, I read it in about 3 hours, but I can't say it blew me away or anything like that. I would recommend it to anyone who likes books about politics or women in politics, or just with strong female lead characters.
